Jonathan Vonnemann is an Analyst at Catenion and lives in Berlin.
Prior to his position as Analyst at Catenion, Jonathan undertook a PhD in Molecular Sciences at the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, in which he quantitatively elucidated multivalency effects of nanomaterials in biomedical applications. Besides several publications in distinguished journals, he won the second prize at the Research to Market Challenge hosted by the Charité Hospital for the development of a new type of antimicrobial filtering material and filed a patent for nanoparticle-based contrast agents for the in vivo imaging of inflammatory diseases. During his studies he financed himself by working as a freelance consultant for the transaction and corporate finance specialized law firm Lacore Rechtsanwälte, Germany.
In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and his daughter, literature and sports.
Jonathan completed a Ph.D. in Molecular Sciences at the Freie Universität Berlin during which he partly worked as a research assistant at the University of Cambridge, UK. Prior to this, he did his M.Sc. at the international joined program for Polymer Science at the HU-, TU-, FU-Berlin and University of Potsdam and his B.Sc. in Chemistry at the University of Leipzig. Jonathan completed his school education with the Irish Leaving Certificate in Dublin.
