Sebastian Mika supports Catenion as an expert for statistical analysis and modeling techniques. He lives in Berlin.

Sebastian studied computer science and mathematics at the Technical University Berlin (TU) where he was awarded a doctorate with special honours in applied statistics upon completing several international research projects, including work for Microsoft Research, AT&T Research and the Australian National University. He has co–authored several dozen scientific articles on machine learning and statistics, e.g. in the field of QSAR modeling. Sebastian also holds an MBA in risk & fraud management. In 2003 he founded the statistical consulting firm idalab.
