Agata Krasowski joined Catenion as an Analyst in 2011 and lives in Berlin.

Agata studied bioinformatics at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen. Due to her interest in drug design she decided to do her diploma thesis in the Pharmaceutical Institute in Tübingen where she worked on designing selective inhibitors for cancer related kinases. Subsequently, she joined the Drug Discovery and Biochemistry department at Dundee University in Scotland to learn more about the early stages of the drug development process. There she did her PhD, developing a method to predict the bindability of small drug–like molecules to target proteins. This method is now becoming more widely used in the target validation process to help decrease failure rates in the early drug discovery stages.

In her free time Agata enjoys cooking, climbing, reading and traveling. She is fluent in English, German and Polish.
